I will do my best to offer you a safe and nurturing relationship from our first phone contact and I value the courage it takes to begin to heal and grow. We will work together to build a trusting relationship and to identify changes you wish to make in order to foster positive growth in your life. It is my privilege to help clients learn to live fully again after loss or while coping with serious illness. Couples may learn more loving and respectful communication skills and to resolve conflict more successfully.

My belief is that the basis of successful therapy is the relationship between the client and therapist. Above all, I value trust, honesty and the courage that personal growth requires. I will be extremely respectful of you and your confidentiality.

I have valuable experience working with people who have suffered a difficult loss through death, illness, divorce or other life changes. I have developed a special perspective through my work in various Bereavement Programs, as a member of a hospital Ethics Committee and by supporting families of medically fragile children.
