Most of us experience times in our lives when we feel stuck. We find ourselves in a place where we are unhappy or restless, where we are not using our skills and potential and might feel disconnected from our loved ones. In therapy, I focus on increasing self-respectful behavior, gaining hopefulness, finding clarity in our beliefs, behaviors and decisions, and recognizing our potential for conscious change.
As life unfolds and new challenges and transitions arise, we need to re-evaluate our beliefs, habits and decisions. It is important to reflect on what has worked and what has not worked for us in the past and to create new coping skills in the areas we want to change.
As a therapist, I believe that each person who steps into my office has a unique set of needs, goals and expectations. I am very interactive and supportive in my approach and strongly believe that the connection in the therapeutic relationship lays the foundation for success.
