Benefits of Membership in SD CAMFT
Membership in our chapter provides an opportunity for therapists and related professionals to share experiences and expertise. Your participation and financial support through membership allows us to offer many benefits, some of which are listed below. Membership in San Diego CAMFT is an opportunity for us to support each other and learn about our community.
Advertising: Members may advertise in the website at a significantly reduced rate.
Attorney-Therapist Interface Luncheons: This is a wonderful opportunity for all members of SD CAMFT to network with other professionals and therapists on a regular basis. San Diego CAMFT is helping professionals expand both knowledge and connections. Both CEU’s and MCLE’s are offered through the Attorney-Therapist Interface Luncheons.
Community Relations: Participate with members as we reach out to the San Diego community by increasing your professional visibility, becoming involved in Speakers Bureaus and submit original down-loadable articles which may be published on the SD CAMFT website.
Intern/Employer Networking: Bi-yearly Intern Networking Event where interns and employers have an opportunity to find mutual benefits. Interns and employers also have an opportunity to offer their services on SD CAMFT Web site.
Monthly Networking CEU Luncheons: An opportunity to network, earn CEU's, market yourself and increase your referral sources as well as develop supportive relationships with peers. Can be a great time to counteract the isolation of private practice while enjoying lunch!
Newsletters: All members receive our informative Bi-Monthly newsletters published five times throughout the year. E-blasts are also sent out to keep individuals informed of chapter events and other educational opportunities.
Professional Development: Receive CEU’s while learning about new theoretical techniques in the Mental Health field.
Resource Directory: All members have the opportunity to submit information to be included in the SD CAMFT Online Resource Directory. Resources in this directory may include Lawyers, Medical Professionals, Mental Health Specialists, as well as other's with an interest in strengthening the mental health community.
SD Therapist Finder Directory: This searchable web friendly directory is a free listing for all members of San Diego CAMFT. This free service is available for the length of your financial membership and is an easy way to advertise areas of specialty within your private practice. Workshops: Regular CEU presentations are held where you have an opportunity to connect with other professionals, expand your knowledge, and share insight and information with your peers.
