San Diego Hospice & Palliative Care in partnership with the Moyer Foundation will host the first Camp Erin San Diego. This is a weekend overnight camp for kids aged 6-17 who have had a loved one die. It will be a traditional high energy, fun camp combined wtih grief support and education. We are enthused by the number of families that have shown interest and anticipate a large number of participants. We also need the help of individuals who will volunteer their time to ensure a great camping experience for the children. Volunteers must be available the following dates: Orientation Sat. 8/16 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Mon. 8/18 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. & Save Your Spot Pizza Party Tue. 8/26 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Identification and background checks will be completed on all volunteers.
