SD CAMFT is linking with the American Red Cross of San Diego to foster a sense of community in giving.

In the midst of the disasters facing our community, we're working to facilitate a joint Disaster Mental Health effort. Red Cross DMH volunteers work in a variety of capacities, most often working with people affected by devastating disasters. In these cases, DMH volunteers provide a compassionate, listening ear-- something that many people need in times of crises. DMH volunteers also provide coping and recovery tips for people on what’s often the worst day of their lives.

We need caring and compassionate individuals like you to support our community!

The San Diego CAMFT chapter, in collaboration Antonyan Miranda LLP, present the first workshop of 2020 in a 4-part series that brings therapists and attorneys together to explore and learn about topics that are mutually relevant to each profession and the unique working relationship that often brings the two together. Our first workshop of the year discusses working with cases that involve CWS/CPS services and clients from two different perspectives; one from attorneys specializing in litigation involving CWS and the other from a marriage and family therapist. We will explore the topic from each perspective, including what to expect from working with one another, professional expectations towards responding to inquiries from either party, and normalizing the experience of collaborative work between therapists and attorneys. Please join us for dialogue, collaboration, and networking.

This is a FREE event! Please join us for networking, education, and 1.5 CEUs!
