Course Description & Educational Goals

Dr. Sheth, MD will present the latest information on depression treatment, including pharmacology, genetic testing, neuromodulation and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. A comprehensive and holistic view of patient care will be discussed with science and fact-based data to share. Participants will walk away with an understanding of the advances in Neuropsychiatry in the Treatment of Depression and how it can benefit mental health clinician's work with their clients when facing treatment resistant depression.

Learning Objectives
1. Participants will be able to name at least two different treatment options for depression and efficacy as outlined in the presentation.

2. Participants will be able to identify one way that Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation can decrease depressive sxs, as well as the response rates and safety stats.  

3. Participants will be able to describe two interventions and how they decrease OCD sxs , as well as how they scored by the Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale.
