Self Care Sunday

This ongoing presentation will offer a safe space where we can discuss current stressors for therapists, explore solutions for success, and increase self-care.

This event is an opportunity to be in a safe space to  discuss our needs as therapists during this political season and to discuss ways to manage counter transference, transference and workshop our own self care skills.

This is also an opportunity for an online Meet & Greet with board members to address challenges over the next year and future considerations.  It is also an opportunity to provide feed back to board member around your needs as SD CAMFT Members.

Goals

Direct a safe discussion to celebrate DEI and learn new tools to increase self-care and belonging in mental health spaces.

Enhance ways to manage unconscious biases.

Develop solutions to build on resources to increase supports for clients and ourselves.

Explore creative strategies to actively combat hate and promote inclusivity.

Navigate ways to manage our self-care during this political season.

Create a safe space for therapists to share their concerns and solutions to manage anxiety.

We will have a Question/Answer (Q&A) session. and will hold space to discuss Best Practices.
