Therapist Corner
formerly known as
Being a therapist is deeply rewarding, and especially right now deeply demanding. Therapist corner is a moment designed just for us: a place to breathe, connect, and take care of ourselves the way we take care of everyone else.
Here at this monthly gathering we can talk about whatever we need to talk about - the weight of this moment, showing up for our clients while carrying our own emotional load through such a difficult political climate, sharing what’s working…and what isn’t, and reminding ourselves that we are not alone.
This is also a space for genuine community. There is real strength in diversity and here we lean into it together. The spirit of intersectionality we hold that we come to this work from different walks of life – different races, classes, genders, and sexual orientations, and these shape us both professionally and personally.
Therapist Corner will be moderated by members of the Board of Directors of our chapter, CAMFT San Diego, and this is an opportunity for you to share your thoughts and requests.

This event is provided by the San Diego Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. SD-CAMFT maintains responsibility for the program and all its content.
