Palomar Family Counseling Service is excited to invite you to our upcoming workshop, Affirming Therapy 101: Ethical, Systemic, and Practical Approaches for Working with Trans and Gender Diverse Clients.

Led by Laura Castro, PsyD, LMFT -  a queer, biracial, cis woman, disabled military veteran, and expert in systemic approaches, sexual/gender/relationship diversity, and affirming practices - this 3-hour session will provide foundational knowledge through a systemic lens. You'll explore ethical responsibilities, cultural considerations, clinical applications, and WPATH Standards of Care (version 8), while building skills to address minority stress, repair misgendering, and uphold client dignity.
